Nice quiz, but feels a little odd that out of 15 questions there are 3 pairs of repeat answers.

Yeah, one of those pairs cost me a perfect score. I originally selected the correct answer for one question but then second-guessed myself and changed it because I had already picked that state for another question. Tricksy!

Same. What's even worse is that it was the Maryland one, and I live there :(

I did exactly the same when I saw the Maryland flag.

I had a teacher in high school who once gave us a 20-question quiz for which every correct answer was B. He told us when returning the quizzes that he wanted us to trust our preparation and knowledge, and not get rattled by minor bumps in the road. If you think the answer is B, go with B, no matter what distractions are making you second-guess. I think it's a good lesson, but taking that quiz was brutal.

A quibble, but Maine was part of Massachusetts until 1820 so it was one of the 13 colonies (sort of).

Yeah, it was part of one of the 13 colonies, but not one of the 13 colonies...

Agreed. I like Arizona's and Colorado's as well - all much better than the plethora of state seals on blue backgrounds.

Arizona's is awesome. Maryland's definitely stands out the most, but Arizona's is my favorite.

I keep hearing Marylanders say their flag is the best but honestly I don't know what they see in it. Everyone I know says it's hideous.

weird that questions 3 and 7 only have three choices while the rest have four, is it worth adding a fourth option for those two just so it's more standardised?
