Didn't necessarily state they're American cities, just cities in American tv shows.

Actually it does. In the instructions it says "name the U.S. cities..."

Of course it is! Can't you hear Fred Flinstone's strong New England accent? :-P

It has to be somewhere in Europe - the characters are all white, and there weren't any white people in the US when Bedrock existed.

I was hoping "Dallas" was going to be one of the TV shows.

...somebody's gonna teach me that Dallas wasn't actually set in Dallas now, aren't they?

Southfork Ranch is near Dallas, but not in Dallas. It's in Parker, Texas, about 50 km north of Dallas.

Somehow missed Chicago for ER. Got everything else, bar Mayberry. Most can be arrived at simply through typing in major US cities. Only Flintstones, Family Guy and The Office really required me to simply know where the show took place.

Yes, I knew almost none of these but guessed random cities and got 13.

Shame 'Portlandia' isn't on here. One of my favourite modern sketch comedies. Also, it would be interesting to see how many people would miss it, despite it being so obvious.

Does ABQ work for Albuquerque? I remember Jesse and Badger calling it ABQ a couple of times.

Can you get rid of Grey's Anatomy and put Frasier as the clue for that one instead? Y'know, try and class-up your quiz?

So Futurama had the chance to call it New York New York, but they didn't? Shame!

Thanks for the picture clue. Never would have gotten Grey's Anatomy on my own.

I understand why, but I'm still a little disappointed that Futurama doesn't accept "NNYC" as an answer.

it does specify American TV shows, so it'll be the US version of the Office that they're looking for

People are usually joking when they leave a "Too US-centric!" comment on a quiz explicitly about US topics, but this is a new low for the whiners.

Or should I say whingers?

I'd like to thank Bowling for Soup for helping me get the answer for the Drew Carey show
