very Nice quiz some of the clues make you think but it is too easy just being an open quiz. I would recommend you use the yellow box limit as I got many clues correct because I just guessed any country in the near or Middle East.

Yeah, I didn't even read the clues but just guessed a bunch of countries in the Middle East and the Mediterranean and got most of them. Also, alphabetical order makes it too easy.

In 'another country saint paul visited' Vatican city should be accepted

Or rather, there needs to be an additional question for this additional country.

As far as I know, the Vatican is not mentioned in the Bible.

The Acts of Peter describes the crucifixion of Peter. Christian tradition holds that this took place in the square in front of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. There are one or two other, extremely vague, references to his death in the Bible; no location is revealed.

That would be tradition lain on top of a book that isn't in the canonical Bible...

I wasn't trying to contradict QM. Just adding the only potential references to the Vatican that could be interpreted as such. Yes, one is non-canonical, two are very vague and require extra-Biblical knowledge to make the assumption that the Vatican is being referenced.

Paul's death is traditionally in what is now the Vatican. To say that it's 'not mentioned in the bible' is invalid, since the death of Paul, which is inherent in the question itself, isn't specifically mentioned in the Bible either. So yes, you're right.

Cool idea. Would add yellow boxes and/or non-alphabetical.

Ha, I hadn't noticed it was alphabetical. That would have made it much easier.

In the bible, the empire is mentioned as stretching from Ethiopia to India.

it's mentioned in the longest verse of the bible (Esther 8:9)

It barely stretched into India it looks like. And it encompassed most of Pakistan. Obviously modern national boundaries didn't matter in Biblical times, so when they said it stretched into India, they probably just meant into Indian lands, not necessarily the entire region.

I'm confused as well. The biblical region known as Ethiopia is not in the same area as the modern country. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Why the King James version? All translations have the same locales!!!! The RC Bible has extra locations, but not extra countries. You're going to say, Armenia, aren't you?

Romans 15:24 & 28 (KJV) mentions Spain, but only in the fact that Paul intended on visiting. Not sure if that justifies an inclusion or not. It probably at least deserves a mention in the caveat.

Because it is absent from the original Bible so it isn't there to be translated into English.

Is there a youtube series which goes over this stuff?

I'd be interested in hearing an hour or two of the historical/geographical/chronological events, in simple English.

It seems to turn into a quagmire quickly.

The vers for ethiopia doesn't match the source. It is about an ethiopian eunuch not about the river. The river on the other hand seems to not be located for sure. It could be the nile or a river in turkey, etc.
