Kola peninsula was still norwegian when the union between Norway and Denmark was created, so Murmansk should also been listed here.

Do you have a source for that?

Wikipedia says Murmansk didn't even exist until World War 1.

No, this quiz is not about the cities back then. It's about modern day cities, so if I can find a reliable source which says Denmark had that area I'll include Murmansk.

Yes it'd be really nice with a source for that since it doesn't look like I can find any source other than the Kola Norwegians which was just settlers

Great quiz! I had no idea about Accra. I would be interested in hearing about why. I always thought that Ghana was a British Colony from start to finish.

For the same reasons as it was for all. Portugal was the first to arrive to the Gold Coast and, funny (not funny at all) thing, they made money by selling slaves to the Ghanaian (Akan) people instead of the other way around.

Nice quiz! But is it fair to include cities who didn’t exist at the time? For example, there was no Tampere during the Kalmar Union era.

That's not what the quiz is about, it's just which has been under danish territory

Or maybe you should just read the part of the description that says "Modern-day cities"

Nice quiz, and educational since most of us didn't get Danish history taught at school. :) I see you included a Caribbean map without any cities, that confused me a bit, I was zooming to see whether there was something there. But I had enough time anyway. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, I'm sorry that the Caribbean map confused you, I just didn't want people commenting "ohhh Denmark Also got parts of the Caribbean!" plus I felt like drawing when I made the map :)

I hate denmark! Does the Kalmar union really count? I don't think it should.
