I have never heard of a giant squid being called a kraken. I've heard them compared, I've heard it said that giant squid sightings likely inspired the myth of the kraken, but I've never heard a giant squid actually called a kraken.

Yes, Yeet, krakens are real. Kraken is just an Norse name for a giant squid and a modern German word for squids.

The next time you listen to Debussy's Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune, you'll know it's not depicting the playful gamboling of a baby deer.

Manticore is wrong, it IS a real animal. Obvoiusly not the mythical lion-scorpion thing, but there is a rather well-known genus of beetles called the Manticore. Including the largest living carnivorous beetle Manticora Imperator.

I like the idea of this quiz, but the term "animal" doesn't really apply for all of them.

At least Ewoks, Fauns and Gorgons aren't animals.

Those who use extraneous apostrophes should be sent to work camps. And your defense of it is tantamount to accessory to extraneous apostrophe usage, which should be similarly punishable.
