@Washington4 I think the user is drawing a distinction between Disneylands, of which there will soon be five, and Disneyworlds, of which there is one. Semantics.
There almost was one in Haymarket, where my family is from, but local opposition to the project discouraged Disney to the point where they withdrew plans.
There are technically two different Disneys in Japan, Tokyo Disney Land and Tokyo Disney Sea. They aren't that close together, and the locals don't consider them the same park. And Disney Sea serves alcohol, but Land doesn't!
London is only 2.5 hours away from Paris by train (there's a Disney Eurostar that goes directly from London to Disneyland Paris) and Paris is more convenient for people in the rest of Europe to get to, so there isn't really a need for a London Disneyland.
Although the original plan was to build it on Rainham marshes just to the east of London. I believe, Paris won out due to government "assistance" from the French side. How true that is...I dont know.
I didn't read the part where it said to guess cities, so I was frantically guessing countries and becoming increasingly frustrated when they didn't work. I may or may not have shouted at my computer, "I KNOW THERE'S ONE IN THE US DON'T LIE TO ME"
Big American brands do very well in China and developed Asian countries generally, especially things that are seen to be emblematic of the US (Disney, McDonald's, Starbucks etc)
