The Canary Islands is part of Spain, and Western Sahara is a disputed territory with independence claims but is controlled by Morocco.

In Western Sahara, its own peseta gets used alongside Morocco's dirham and Mauritania's ouguiya. No pesos in sight there.

Frankly I'm always weirded out when a former Spanish colony DOESN'T use the peso. Literally means pound. Same as the UK. I almost forgot Las Filipinas.

It actually means "weight" in a generic sense, whereas the pound is a specific unit of mass.
