Austira-Hungary attacked Serbia and that is how the World War I started.
By the way, Serbia gave a faighting lesson to them in the first few battles.

But how in God's name did so many people miss Ottoman Empire? I was always taught they were one of the three main combatants on the Central Powers side. It was in fact this war that ended the Ottoman Empire.
At the start I thought "I'll go with the bigger ones first", at the end I was sure I had it already in, so I didn't think of it...
