if it was 2012, I'd easily get at least a point, but unfortunately, the times change quickly and there are many young players I've never heard of, anyways great job!
Absolutely not. He barely played that year. Only 16 apperances for clubs and national team in total, while f.e. some Man City's players played in ~70 matches.
"By far" is really underrating the rest of the leagues. I mean, all 5 Spanish teams won their Champions League group this season, while only 2 of the 4 English teams even went through to the next round. And that is WITH a ridiculous amount more money.
Darwin Nunez had like 10 goals and 6 assists for Liverpool in the whole year and he's somehow above Openda, who had 14 goals and 4 assists in the 2nd half of last season for Lens and another 15 goals and 4 assists for Leipzig in the first half of this season. The Premier League simply has the best marketing which makes people think it's the only league that matters somehow.
I don't know if there is something wrong with this list, but I agree mostly about underrating of other leagues. Somehow players quality rises miraculously in one night when they get transfer to English premier league
Man, the guys at the Guardian do NOT like defenders... Only one defender and one goalkeeper in the top 30, and van Dijk (pretty much the definition of how you should defend) and Kim (insanely talented) only barely making the top half of the list.

Got 92 players, could get some more if there was more time .
