Not sure that "faster than the speed of sound" is a great clue. I tried "speed of light" and even "Superman", both of which are true, but not accepted.

"Speed of light" has three words, it should contain only one word

Oh come on. If you're looking for one word which means "faster than the speed of sound", the only one that makes sense is "supersonic". That's what it means!

Love your scrabble clue. I was groping around for mah-jong-like Asian games before the penny dropped.

Me too. I'm a bit sheepish to admit that I also tried Superman before supersonic. Not as sheepish as a Kiwi, but still...

Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, not faster than sound.

I was looking for an R&B artist named Shamu.

Also, the New Zealand answer tripped me up. I spent some time staring at it trying to figure out how "orcs" started with an S.

Haha oops I thought that Jacob Marley was one of Bob Marleys kids that also went on to become a musician and that they wanted to know who his musical partner was. Dumb mistake.

This is not a complaint, but did anyone else notice that there were no USA questions, and four UK-centric questions? That is uncommon for Jetpunk!

Xu, Za, and Qi threw me completely off; I was thinking maybe it was some kind of board game based off the Warring States; rarely use these words when playing.

I tried "Sonic" for faster than the speed of sound, but I wasn't thinking of generalizations, I was thinking of Sonic the Hedgehog...

My first instinct was to put "sonic" too. I knew that "super sonic" was the only correct answer, but I thought that it was two words, while the instructions specified that all answers were just one. Finally I couldn't think of another appropriate word, so I joined them together and - Eureka! - it was accepted.

I wasn't aware that Seal was an R&B artist. None of his music sounds like R&B.
