Denmark, Norway and Sweden are the only countries considered Scandinavian. Finland, Iceland and the Scandinavian Countries are Nordic. Sometimes Estonia, Greenland and The Faroe Islands are also considered Nordic, it depends on who you ask. :)

Well yeah, GoatUnicorn is right. But when speaking of the Scandinavian peninsula, Denmark is of course not included, and a small part of Finland is. But speaking of the region Scandinavia, it includes Denmark and not Finland. Skåne (or Scania), the southernmost part of Sweden - which used to belong to Denmark - has the same origin and word root as Scandinavia. Estonia belonged to the Swedish Empire but is generally not considered a Nordic country, rather Baltic (although it is considered a sister-country to Finland, which is Nordic and not Baltic). The Faroe Islands and Greenland are part of the Danish crown and especially the Faroes are commonly considered Nordic.
