Since you're doing indents to show which seas are subsets of other seas, you may want to indicate that Iroise Sea is contained inside the Celtic Sea.

Some of Russia is in Europe, Russia borders the Sea of Okhotsk... should the Sea of Okhotsk be included in the seas of Europe? Obviously not. This is not seas that border countries that have territory in Europe, it's seas that border Europe. France is all over the place - some of it is in Europe, some of it is in South America, some of it is in the Pacific, but for the purposes of this quiz we need only be concerned with the bit in Europe.

I love geography, it's gotten to the point where I can name every country in the world, it's capital and tell you where it's located. This was very refreshing, knowing that even now there are still a lot of places in our world to learn about.

If you include the Myrtoan and Thracian seas, you must also add Icarian Sea (contained in the Aegean Sea), Levantine Sea (south of Anatoila), Cilician Sea (north of Cyprus, included in the Levantine Sea) and Libyan Sea (between Libya and Crete. They're all contained in the Mediterranean Sea. You could even add the Karpathian Sea, but that would be kind of a stretch since it's rarely mentioned in English.

I think that the Caspian Sea should not be included, as it is a lake, not a sea. The title does not infer that it is a sea.

I beg to differ, the dead sea, the sea of galilee, the aral sea, or the salton sea are clearly considered lakes rather than seas. I know that some people consider the caspian sea to be a lake and some don't. Personally, I always considered the caspian sea to be a big lake.

The Wadden Sea is an ecosystem of the intertidal zone, found on many coasts around the world. It's not a strictly defined topological region like the other seas in this quiz.

No, the Wadden Sea is a specific area, between the Frisian islands and the mainland coast. The term 'wadden' is sometimes also used for any considerable intertidal area, but Wadden Sea is still the name of the sea area, not a mere description.

Geez... Even though I've been trying to study maps a lot, I guess the seas passed by me. I only knew of the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, Baltic... and I think that's it? I only started really learning Geography in late August, but I'm still concerned by my lack of knowledge on the seas. Possibly a side-effect of the recent reformatting of quizzes - the grey-hatched countries now block out several of the answer panels, and the answers do not display, even after the end of the quiz. Also, Greenland seems to have been pushed unnaturally close to Iceland.
