Found this one incredibly easy for some reason.

it's a pretty easy quiz. Most of the people on here are so well-known that you could guess them even with a single clue, but they provide two more just in case you don't get the first one.

It was pretty easy for me, too, but there was usually at least one name in each group with which I was not familiar, so as you said it might be fun to try a similar quiz using fewer clues for each name. A single name would open too many possibilities for many of these.

mostly pretty easy, but cho, mead, sanger got me... I vaguely recognize the names after seeing them but I wasn't gonna get that one.

I think there were some nice red herrings, with sinatra alone everybody would guess frank, with obama everyone would say barrack (but yea immediately after michelle, since it is an unusual/uncommon last name)

brown would gives james, banks tyra, mcartney paul, houston whitney, jackson michael. Etc

I got only 14/30. This was way too much made for Americans. Example Dickinson should be Bruce, Hamilton should be Lewis, Loeb should be Sebastian etc. Almost 90% of names were "never heard" even when I saw the answers. Idea is still very good!

Bruce Dickinson - he puts his pants on one leg at a time. Then he makes gold records.

It was not too American at all. In most groupings there was at least one non-American and in any case at least one in each group was famous enough to make a decent guess. I'm British, by the way.

Initially thought you had misspelled Nighy for the "Bill" clue - Bill Nighy is probably more recognised internationally

very easy 100% with 2:53 leftover. I would advise knocking it down to a pair of names to make it a bit more difficult. enjoyed it nevertheless

Thought of Kate Moss, Kate Jackson, and Kate Quaid.

There is a Kate Quaid, but I guess she is not very important.

"Tebow, McGraw, Burton" - couldn't get past Ali McGraw and then had Ali Burton as a mental block. That's one for all you oil company hounds out there.
