Either spider, ant, and bee need to be removed from this quiz or it needs to be renamed to Spanish CREATURE words quiz, as the three I previously named are not animals.

Yes they are animals. A spider is an arachnid and ants and bees are insects. They are all animals.

Animals are clearly a type of insect and arachnids are a type of animal. Insects are also a type of arachnid, meaning that animals are types of arachnids AND insects, and that ant, spider and bee belong on this quiz since insects and arachnids are types of animals.

This is all a joke, isn't it? Claims that spiders, ants and bees are not animals, or that insects are arachnids? These things are so easy to check before posting, it's not as though it's such obscure knowledge and impossible to find on the internet.

Some people... Just accept that you are wrong. Bees are not animals. They have never been animals. They never will be animals. Bees are fungi, ants are plants and spiders are flipping protoctists! Read a book for goodness sake!

I got most of them except monkey, fish, goat, and fox. Being raised in Mexico I'd been taught that the Spanish words for these were chango, pescado, chivo, and I think I confused zorro with zorrillo which is what I know as skunk. Great quiz!

I forgot medusa, even though I knew it was jellyfish. Couldn't stop thinking "snakes." A way I remember what "cabra" means is because the mythical chupracabra literally means "goat sucker." So if you remember that it "chupras" "cabras", then there you go. If you don't really know what that is, then ignore me, I probably didn't help at all. :)

I thought coqui was Spanish for frog until I looked it up and realized it is a type of frog in Puerto Rico. I learned the song "El Coqui" in Girl Scouts and sang it to my children as a lullaby, never knowing its origin. Now I do, and it's probably stuck in my head the rest of the day. (I'll probably sing myself to sleep.)
