Some of the new metrics are really confusing. I love baseball, but I'd probably bomb that one.

I used to be a baseball fan - now I only watch hockey. I'm very pleased with my 20/22. I would also like to see power play goal added for PPG though. You could also mess up a lot of non-hockey people by throwing in "PIM."

I got wide receiver, but have to agree that World Record should be good too. You always see "WR" used in track & field graphics.

No one else on this site has heard of Netball! It is such a widely played sport internationally, yet it gets very little media coverage and barely ever gets mentions in Sports quizzes like this one! We are still such a sexist world when it comes to sport.

22/22 with 2:20 left. What are the odds? This would have to be a nightmare of a quiz for most people outside the U.S. Had this been loaded with common rugby, cricket and buzkashi acronyms, I would've been in trouble.

This is so American lol, no FIFA, no ICC, no FIBA or anything. I had no idea what 75% of these are because I just don't study NFL or Baseball. I expected WR to be world record and I was so puzzled when I was wrong. Oh well what can ya do... potentially change the title because it's a little misleading

Just to be pedantic, these are not acronyms, they are abbreviations. An acronym is an abbreviation that becomes a word, e.g. SCUBA - self-contained underwater breathing apparatus.

These are not acronyms. An acronym is an abbreviation that can be and is pronounced as a word. Minor letters may or may not be omitted from the acronym. In baseball, WHIP is an acronym for Walks and Hits per Inning Pitched. LOB is not an acronym since it is not pronounced "lob."
