It's Uhura, not Uhuru, and Kira should be acceptable as Captain Sisko almost always called her Major Kira on the show.

Fixed. Thanks!

Just re-took this one, and noticed that while "Uhura" worked, the name is still misspelled in the answer that appears. Just sayin'!

That an Bajoran names are surname, given name. Nerys was her given nome

To be fair, the end credits of Star Trek VI made the same mistake, re: "Uhuru."

yeah, Bajorans use their family name first. so Kira is actually her family name nerys is her given name

Almost 100%, but kept drawing a blank on a couple of the actors. Also, THobbes is right that Uhura is misspelled, and that "Kira" alone should be accepted since, with Bajorans, the surname comes before the given name. Picard made that mistake in one episode.

Absolutely. BTW, the mistake was with Ensign Ro Laren, in the "Ensign Ro" episode - unless he made the mistake several times.

The security officer for TNG should also include Tasha Yar (Denise Crosby)

She died in, like, what, episode 3 or something? Never was able to understand how she became so popular when she was killed off so early and so unceremoniously.

Tasha died in "Skin of Evil", Season 1, episode 23. (She also reappeared as herself in "Yesterday's Enterprise"!)

And then later as Tasha's time-travel alternate-universe daughter.

How about Tasha Yar on Next Gen? And what about the other actors on DS9, Voyager & Enterprise?

You should accept "Whoopi"

Sisco was a commander not a captain

He was promoted to captain a few seasons into the show.

Anyone who does well on this quiz ought to take a crack at my Actors With Frequently Recurring Roles quiz. You'll have four right off the bat.

What about the doctor from DS9? He was my favorite. You should include Barclay, too.

One second left. Literally. I was like 'bakula' and really grateful for years of typing experience because otherwise I would have failed. I literally lurched in my seat, it was actually pretty funny.

The entire main cast of TNG (including one who was only main cast for four seasons, plus two recurring characters) except for Dr. Crusher? It seems so random to exclude her while including less important characters. She was in almost as many episodes (155) as Wesley, Chief O'Brien, and Guinan combined (87, 52, and 29, respectively). Even if having her pops up Wesley, you still have to guess both actors.

The first captain was Christopher Pike played by Jeffrey Hunter in the original pilot episode. That pilot was rejected and another pilot was made with Shatner as Kirk. The Pike character appeared in a couple of later episodes and was then played by Bruce Greenwood.

Though Christopher Pike appeared in two episodes of the original series (three if you count the two-part episode "The Menagerie" as two separate episodes), he was only played by Jeffrey Hunter in the first one. The disfigured Pike was played by Sean Kenney. Bruce Greenwood played Captain Pike in the 2009 Star Trek reboot film.

Ok so if you've seen that Star Trek movie that came out in 2009 or so, then you can just imagine the LOLs when the director is just like "well, Chris Pine, here's the actor who is gonna play your dad in the movie: Chris Hemsworth." THE CHRISIS MULTIPLIED
