Good quiz - nice range of questions! Was surprised that Alaska isn't the greatest oil producing state.

I really expected Alaska to eclipse Texas. Curious if Alaska would outrank if drilling were totally open. For the record, I'm glad it's not.

If Alaska had been run by Alaskans from the start, then it would outrank Texas in oil production.

I guessed yes just because it's so much bigger than the other states that get them (tornados, not Musks)

Johnson I get, and yes, Ike was born there. But to say he's "from" Texas goes against this other jetpunk mainstay:

I don't think Elon Musk actually does live in Texas. He lives in Los Angeles. I know he said he moved to Texas but I haven't found any sources that could verify that he actually has moved or where he supposedly moved to.

Elon moved to Texas for various reasons. 1: SpaceX's new vehicle, known as the Starship, probably for testing. 2: Tesla is building their Gigafactory in Austin. 3: There is no personal income tax in Texas.

It's a big show tbh; he still works in California and has to pay taxes in California, he just wanted to get on the Texas government's good side

Extra information after the quiz has a typo. "Bush's were not" should be "Bushes were not". This is according to the Chicago Manual of Style. Never use an apostrophe to make a word plural.

"Texas was an independent country" is debatable and should maybe be removed/changed to "de facto independent". At the time it didn't have much international recognition (only 3 countries in Europe) and I imagine if you read a Mexican history textbook it would say Texas was part of Mexico.
