Thanks for accepting "a Kitt". I love typing everything except the keyword. Add my vote to "Life on Earth" - an utterly iconic British natural world education programme, our Cosmos.

Am I the only one who thought the wording of "creationist" made it sound like it was either someone's name or a name for someone who believes that way rather than the name of a theory/belief?

I was thinking about a person as well.

I'm even worse. I didn't know the answer and when I saw it I just assumed that Young Earth was a person who changed his/her name to call attention to his/her belief.

Yeah, the phrase should be changed from "Creationist who believes that" to something like "Creation belief that"

I got this one very easily but I spend time debating these yahoos a lot, and even used to be one myself. A Young-Earth Creationist believes in the literal account of Creation as related in the book of Genesis, and that everything else in the Bible is literally true as well (and therefore, if you do the math and count backward to Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah and Adam the planet is only a few thousand years old). Famous ones include Ken Ham of Australia, Ray Comfort of New Zealand, Harun Yahya of Turkey, and Kirk Cameron of 1980s TV sitcoms.

I remember some video about kirk cameron and bananas and that bananas are the way they are so they fit exactly in our hands or something..

yes that video is infamous. Just about the worst argument for creationism ever and that says a lot. Ray Comfort is the other man in the same video, and he often gets called the "banana man" because of it.

They are not called, "Rare Earth Metals" anymore because there are rarer metals that are not in that in the "Rare Earth Metal" period. Now they are called Lanthanides and Actinides.

A few people on Earth changing the rule doesn't negate everyone else who follow an old continuum of the language as nobody.

What about Earth Hour? Not too many people would know what this is. It started in Sydney, Australia in 2007. If you want to find out more about it, visit http://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/world/earth-hour for more information.
