Victoria on PBS Masterpiece is a great series to watch, too, for more info. (It's similar to The Crown, the series about Queen Elizabeth II.)

John Snow - arguably the most important man by the name, though Game of Thrones fans will beg to differ.

Interesting point about hemophilia causing the Russian Revolution. That's a bit of a stretch, but still an interesting idea that Prince Alexi's illness was the breaking point for the Russian people.

It's a bit of a butterfly effect.

It's the reason Rasputin, a mystic healer of ill repute, was so intimately employed by the Romanovs. No one else knew that, though, as the prince's condition was kept a closely guarded secret. Everyone else --- the court, the public, etc --- was left to wonder why this crazy man was so ingratiated to the royal family and why they so passionately defended him.

They were autocratic, ineffectual leaders, and didn't have a great reputation to begin with, so this is really just one of the many mitigating factors that led to Russian Revolution, but it certainly played a part.

The answer accepted for the first question doesn't make sense in relation to the quiz title.

Elizabeth II became queen over 50 after the death of Victoria, so her longer reign since then has no bearing on events between 1837 and 1901 when Victoria was on the throne.

The correct answer here should be George III who Victoria replaced as the longest serving monarch during her reign.

It's comparing her reign to another one, so yeah it's still related and perfectly within the title and description's parameters.

Don't be so anal.

A chimney sweep is a person who cleans out chimneys. They still exist. The child was only one kind of sweep, the term doesn't relate specifically to them; they were called 'climbing boys'.
