Please add Mikado and Tenno as alternatives to Emperor.

Properly speaking, mikado refers more to the imperial government as a whole and not to the emperor himself and was at any rate already archaic by the time Hirohito came to power. Tenno though should probably be accepted, since we're using the Russian 'tsar' instead of the English.

More people got Lady Gaga than Count Dracula? What is this world coming to?

To be fair, Lady Gaga is always referred to with the full expression "Lady Gaga" attached, while you frequently call Dracula just "Dracula".

Nah – she even calls herself just "Gaga" sometimes.

If someone was guessing random titles I'm sure Lady would come way before Count.

'President' would also work for Arthur, as in Chester A Arthur, 21st President of the US.

I got Mullah but missed Colonel. I would have gotten it if it were Col. Sanders.

That's because he isn't a real colonel like Sanders, or Mustard, or Blimp or Hannibal Smith or even Nick Fury :)

This is nitpicking, but according to Japanese traditional nomenclature, there was no emperor Hirohito. While Hirohito was the last emperor's personal name, he was referred to strictly as "His Majesty the Emperor" during his lifetime, and after his death he was given the postmortal name "Emperor Showa" under which he is known in Japan today.

But she isn't known as Ms Piggy. If it were released now for the first time, maybe she would but the character is very definitely Miss Piggy.

Skinner! Skinner!!!

The only American comedy which most Brits get are all those wonderful cartoon series like The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Archer, King of the Hill and loads of others too. How are those guys so funny, when most US comedy just doesn’t work for the English?

For that matter, why does "most US comedy not work for the English"? Plenty of Yanks love Blackadder, Monty Python, Ab Fab, and other British comedies. Personally, I'm a big fan of Yes Minister.

Seems strange that this shouldn't work in reverse as well.

Or maybe certain individual Brits just prefer their own personal snobbery to the practice of enjoying cultures other than their own.
