Quite surprised by how little of the earth shares this specific climate type. I looked into it, and it turns out that "tropical monsoon" areas, which have a more seasonal rainfall, cover a much bigger area, which is why countries like Venezuela weren't included.

You were replying to a comment from 2017... Answers on Jetpunk are updated from time to time, and seeing that as of today Venezuela is only in last place, it probably was not included when the original comment was made.

Some of those countries are pretty small. Can't have 100,000 km squared if your nation isn't that large.

Surprised the Philippines made the list. I heard that most of the Philippines had been deforested.

The trees could've been deforested, but the climate is still there.

The climate is quite a lot influenced by the vegetation.

So is most of the Amazon Rainforest a "tropical monsoon" climate or another kind of climate? The source map only covers a small portion of Brazil, definitely not the entirety of the Amazon.

Just so anyone who thinks frogs are great but hasn't seem them knows, they aren't. My class dissected frogs today and though I was excited in the days before, just looking at my frog's eyes made me think it would jump at me. I kept shivering and lurching backwards, and it took me 15 minutes just to pick it up. Eventually I got used to my frog, which I named King Richard III of Scotland, but the others still look like they want to lash out at me.
