I didn't know MASH was considered a sitcom. I couldn't think of anything else with Alan Alda.

M*A*S*H used to be shown, in the States, with a laughter track. They may have taken if off for later reruns. The BBC always showed it without the laugh track, which was why Larry Gelbart preferred to live in Britain for many years.

MASH is odd in that it started off as a comedy and evolved into a less funny and more dramatic series as it went on.

Yeah, did the quiz change since you left this comment? Because I don't think any of the current answers were even acting (or, in many cases born) when Gilligan's Island was on the air.
