I didn't know MASH was considered a sitcom. I couldn't think of anything else with Alan Alda.

M*A*S*H used to be shown, in the States, with a laughter track. They may have taken if off for later reruns. The BBC always showed it without the laugh track, which was why Larry Gelbart preferred to live in Britain for many years.

MASH is odd in that it started off as a comedy and evolved into a less funny and more dramatic series as it went on.

Bob Saget can be a bit confusing, since he's also the narrator of How I Met Your Mother... Or do you only consider on-screen stars? Maybe go with John Stamos, or the Olsen twins, or the now infamous Lori Loughlin instead?
