Not sure I would have gotten spoon if not for the picture. But given the picture, 51% surprisingly low.

To be honest, soup spoon and tablespoon are fairly obvious, but grapefruit spoon? I've only ever heard of a grapefruit knife - those serrated ones you use to get the segments out. But I don't eat grapefruit, so that's probably why.

I have a set of grapefruit spoons, and they are the quintessential tool for eating a grapefruit half. They are narrow, pointed at the end, and serrated along one side.

They also work really well for removing seeds from jalapenos.

I'm kicking myself over this one for sure, but, hypothetically, why wouldn't player, pro, and stadium (and possibly even ball) be acceptable answers to the tennis/baseball/football clue?

I tried ball, player, and athlete first as well.

in UK we spell it 'colour' as opposed to 'color'. No wonder I got it wrong!

I read "Real, Irrational" and said "Oh, sure, it's fear!". When that didn't work I went back and read "Integer". Oops.

If it said "Primal" instead of "integer" it might have worked.

I got stuck on "Stud, Draw" because it seemed like verbs for crafting (studding leather, drawing steel) but then Omaha?!?!

Hydrogen, lithium and uranium aren't types of element, but instances of elements.

The baseball/football/tennis one is ridiculous. It could be types of ball, coach, stadium, fan, jersey/uniform, TV channel - the possibilities are endless.

It is probably only ridiculous because you didn't get it.

Yes, but what is the first and foremost thing that they all have in common? I mean, look at the things you listed. What do "ball, coach, stadium, fan, jersey/uniform, and TV channel" all have in common? They all have to do with sports.

Americans know it's the George Foreman grill, not barbecue, but other countries probably weren't subjected to the endless infomercials. Consider yourself fortunate.

That's. . . that's not a British spelling. The US spells it "missile" as well.

"what is love?" I asked my wife while she was refraining from brandishing a kitchen knife and ruminating over the the last two times she asked me to take out the garbage. She stopped mincing garlic for a moment, dropped her shoulders...sighed...slowly turned her perfectly proportioned skull so her cosmically aligned cartoon-sized barbecue-smoky sienna eyes bore two ten-thousand degree blue-hot laser rifles through my face...and she muttered, barely audibly..."...baby don't hurt me..."

I'm so in love...and have been for 24 years come tomorrow. Eat my a$$.

This one was much harder than the other ones, only got 15 (18 on the others). Though I did type elements, must ve made a typo. A guys name and two types of fuel would never have gotten me grill. And the other ones do not mean much to me either. Sidewinder made me think of snake. (Though seeing the clues, studpoker rings a bell)
