"I Just Stopped In…" was the song that ran with the closing credits, in case you forgot :-)

I got that one the same way, along with Wayne's World and Ferris Bueller. Should have remembered Kill Bill and Toy Story, for the same reason. Surprised Lion King didn't show up, that's another regular. But still a nice mix. Enjoyable quiz even though I only knew half of them.

Shouldn't "This is Spinal Tap" be acceptable? Almost didn't try Spinal Tap on it's own.

Typed in Casablanca because I was sure "As Time Goes By" was going to be one.

Couple things:

Typo on "Don't YOU Forget About Me" and I don't think you should accept "Monty Python." I couldn't remember the name of the specific movie, so on a whim I just typed Monty Python. I mean, you wouldn't accept "National Lampoon" for Animal House would you?

John Travolta is a twofer! But that picture is much more his "Saturday Night Fever" haircut than it is his "Grease" haircut… although technically, it really looks like his "Welcome Back Kotter" haircut!!

I tried Romeo + Juliet a few times and wondered how it had to be typed in to be accepted. I know it "only" features a cover of When Doves Cry - the only good thing about that movie.

I realised with 10 seconds to go that it must be Purple Rain, but Romeo and Juliet was my first thought and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't accepted.

I like that movie. There were a lot of other good songs on the soundtrack, for one thing, but I thought it was a reasonably good interpretation soundtrack aside.

You should allow Vaiana for Moana since that's what the movies title is, at least in Europe.

Not in English though. Most of these movies would have different titles in other languages.

That awful song "Oh Yeah" was used in like every other eighties movie. I'm sure "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" was used in more then one movie.

Also, while "I'll Always Love You" will forever be linked to "The Bodyguard" it's worth noting that it was originally a Dolly Parton song (she wrote it) and can be heard in a bar scene in "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore."

Dolly Parton wrote the song in 1973, nine years before that movie. She wrote it for Porter Wagner when she decided to leave their duet act and start a solo career. It was a number one country song for Dolly twice, the first time in 1974..

Also, I'm sorry but "Ecstasy of Gold" is part of an instrumental score. It's neither a "song" or a well known piece of music that achieved new found fame in a movie like "Thus Begat Spartan" or "Ride of the Valkyries." You could just as easily included the sharks theme from "Jaws", the shower scene from "Psycho", the Imperial March from "Empire Strikes Back" and so on.
