Really should give the last name as the clue. The quiz should be to guess the "unusual name". There was also a well known player named Babe Herman although obviously Ruth is more recognizable.

Huh, I thought of George Herman....Ruth. Probably the most well-known baseball player of all time.

If you can't come up with Babe Ruth, the most famous baseball player of all time, you don't deserve to get that question right.

Yeah, really - are we arguing about Babe Ruth? In other news, there's a new, unrelated, Boog Powell in the league.

But if you give the last name, you can't use any last names that are common. The clue for "Andruw Jones" would be "____ Jones," which would have like 100 answers (including "Chipper," which is weird in its own right). Ditto for Chili Davis, Magglio Ordonez, Oil Can Boyd, Aroldis Chapman, Catfish Hunter, Boog Powell, Livan Hernandez, and Honus Wagner. The quiz then becomes "of all the baseball players with this last name, who has the weirdest first name?" which is too subjective. As the quiz is now, you still need to know these players, and the answers are definite.

The closest thing I could find was a YouTube channel called Boof and the Goose. The entire channel is three videos about a Maltese dog just chilling and they're all shorter than 30 seconds.

So funny seeing this comment from 3 years ago. QM adds it, and I take the quiz again today and keep trying Mookie Blaylock and wondering why it doesn't work! (He was an NBA player, for the record.) At least I eventually figured it out. :-)

if you've got Mookie Wilson, you have to accept Mookie Betts as a type-in at least--he's one of the best players in the game right now.
