Of course, there's always Google, but sometimes it's more interesting hearing it from another person. No should be dismissed for curiosity on a trivia website of all places.

I suggest some more liberal allowance for Quarter Troops. I typed "take quarter," gave up on that line of thinking when it didn't take

Seconded. I couldn't come up with "quarter" and spent minutes trying "board" and other synonyms with soldiers, military, fighters, et cetera.

I tried 'billeting' to no avail. I realize that is the verbiage used in the Declaration of Independence and not the Constitution, but it should be allowed.

I typed troops, hoping that was good enough. I could not remember quarter. Seize should be good enough as well.

I agree with you that Sloth doesn't describe a busy day like Thanksgiving but let's not put down a whole gender because one guy was misinformed. My husband and my father before him were always just as busy on Thanksgiving as anyone else. : )

Did not know the radio call station call sign question. Very interesting. Something to which I've long been exposed and never thought about. Now to learn why the signs are set that way...

And you should also accept Bobby "Blue" Bland, who was the first to sing those words. Still the best after 60 plus years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEGtrlqM5Dw.

But for those who like oddities, here's David Bowie's version, back when he was still David Jones, backed by Jimmy Page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQyrYJMitho
