oh dang it. I thought the question said TV game show host not TV game show. I tried Hall and Brady.

Brady is definitely headed for the Hall.

Missed three, including "Zorro", which I was subsequently surprised to see was most-guessed. Am I missing something here?

Only the fact that it's... very well known?

Zorro was a really popular TV show, and then a number of years later, a really popular movie*. So there are at least two generations that would be really familiar with it. And the slashing of the letter Z with a sword was a prominent feature of both. (In the case of the TV show, it was shown during the credits; in the case of the movie, it was on the poster, as well as featuring in pretty much every episode, etc.)

Perhaps you're not one of those two generations? I dunno. But in the general case, it's a pretty easy question.

* Yes, pedants; there were of course several Zorro movies over the years. But the 1998 one in particular was a widely-seen blockbuster.

I may not have been in either of those generations. But wouldn't you know it, five years later I got that question right! This site is improving my knowledge!

Although this time around I missed four, so maybe not...

honestly for me it was just guessing famous characters whose name starts with Z, there aren't a whole ton so I got it pretty quickly

Is the essay section not counted as part of the SAT score? 1600 was a perfect score back when I took it, but I thought that changed when they added the essay.

They added a writing section in 2005, and a 2400 was a perfect score when I took it, but they got rid of the writing section recently, and the highest score is a 1600 again.

Huh. Didn't know they got rid of the writing section. Thanks!

How unfortunate for the poor souls who had to suffer through an additional writing portion for that brief time period. I'm so glad I missed that!

M&M is not a brand, it is a product. A brand would be Hershey, Nestle, etc.

I suggest that the CH-37 Mojave and the OH-58 Kiowa be accepted for the question regarding a military helicopter named after a southwestern Native American tribe. If the Comanche is accepted, I believe the Kiowa and Mojave are even better answers.

I definitely read just in the last few months that Reese's is the best-selling candy brand in the United States, and at least according to Wikipedia, that's correct.

Wikipedia's chart is using 2012 data. Not sure what's being used for this quiz question, but likely something more recent.
