As a non-American, non-sports fan, I thought I'd give it a go to see how many I'd get.

I managed to beat 0.5% of all participants, by answering Don King, and that's all :(

I'm an American and I got less than half. Other than quasi-holidays such as Superbowl Sunday and World Series Week and watching the grandkids at their games, I just can't convince myself to care, but I salute those of you - such as my daughter - who are experts.
