Got caught on Planet for longer than I care to admit. Was racking my brain trying to come up with a v synonym, rather than the name of a planet...

I can't believe someone else made that mistake. I would have gotten 100% if i read that correctly and the quiz accepted Vale for Vail.

I live (relatively) close to Vail, and I too thought it was spelled "Vale" at first. Agree should be accepted, since it's already the least guessed answer. At least give a little leeway.

Guess I can't read, either. I wasted two minutes trying to figure out why the capital of Australia now starts with a V. Whoops!

When I read the Consonant question, I thought it was looking for an actual letter and I was completely lost on how a letter starts with a V.

*Aliens* ......but seriously haha. The letter "v" does. Unless you meant a vowel, in which case....um....nah, got nothing.

Got everything except the Colorado ski resort. Windows Vista was fine, the real enemy is Windows 8. and... I think that Hoodoo is a religion and voodoo is really more just folk traditions and superstitions.. the black magic part of hoodoo. Or at least that's what the game Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers told me.

ROYBGIV is not an international thing, I think. If you're from an English speaking country you've probably heard of it, but I for example had no clue what it meant as I am from non-english speaking country. And, you know, Spock and Star Trek is pretty well known.

I agree. Voodoo is present in many aprts of the Caribbean, and of course mainly in West Africa. Why should Louisiana be singled out?

There's a unique type called Louisiana Voodoo - sometimes called New Orleans Voodoo. Marie Laveau was a well-known New Orleans voodoo queen who was part of the development. Haitian vodou evolved differently.

You should allow "Vain" as an answer to the ROYGBIV. British schoolchildren were (are?) taught the mnemonic "RICHARD OF YORK GAINED BATTLES IN VAIN" to remember the rainbow colours. I never thought you were looking for the actual colour, VIOLET!!
