It has to be maple syrup, as opposed to corn.

I typed syrup first and when it wasn't accepted realized that Maple Syrup has to be the right answer, there are too many other types and Vermont is famous for its Maple Syrup.

Yup. I thought it was spelled Montpellier. When that wasn't right, I thought I had it mixed up with New Hampshire and didn't have a clue.

Because the libs would otherwise be offended... They have a tendency to be very sensitive and meticulous about semantics and ignorant to facts. Btw, it's not racist to call a black person black or a white person white!

The fact that he openly identifies as one is reason enough to quote it if that's what he calls himself.

That's exactly what I am getting at... Many citizens are ideologically socialist, but neglect/refuse to realize it under the presupposition that socialism is inherently un-American or something of the sort. As a result, regardless of what the truth is, they will brand themselves and somebody such as Bernie Sanders as "economically progressive" or any other phrase that is more appealing to the leftists.

Vermont is the leading producer of maple syrup in the United States. Across the border, Quebec produces about five times as much.

What's your point? It's not like it claimed that it was the world's biggest producer.
