Took me a second to think: "what country borders South Sudan and the Atlantic" then I remembered how huge the DRC is.

For some reason, I put in Uganda for that then realised: the Atlantic is on the other side of Africa. Then the same thing happened.

Doesn't South Sudan also border Kenya? And this borders South Sudan

South Sudan does indeed border Kenya, but Kenya's coast is on the Indian Ocean.

There is no way that is true. I mean, I've looked at a map, and it definitely is, but there's just no way! Wow!

I do a similar series of quizzes: 'Border to Border'. It has the same idea but there are no hints/clues! Currently, there are 10 in the series and more are coming. Check it out if you want.

Armenia for start and end with same letter could have worked too. And there are many countries ending with -stan.

Armenia does not border Italy. Russia does not border any other the other -stans. This is a "walking across borders" quiz, so they have to touch.

Nope, swhen you use "the" and capital letters, it's normally quite specific. Like "the pill".

Mount K2 lies in the disputed China-Pakistan border.

It lies exactly in between Baltistan, Pakistan and Xinjiang, China

K2 is undisputed part of Pakistan after the border agreement 1963 b/w China and Pakistan

K2 actually sits on the land which is rightfully India's, but was snatched later by Pakistan and now disputed with China.. whatever.

One of the few quizzes that doesn't accepted Burma as a type-in for Myanmar, was this intentional?

But it’s not called Burma! It’s been Myanmar for over a decade so get used to it. Are you just looking for a quicker way to type it or something?

The reality is a little more complicated, but yes the clue should probably be changed - and now it has been. Thanks for pointing this out.

the only problem is that K2 is disputed, even if China and Pakistan agree that it is in Pakistan, India doesn't accept it, in most Indian schools it is studied that K2 is the tallest peak in India. So instead, I would prefer to interchange with this, "It is the only 'Stan' nation with an access to an actual sea". It would be better and wouldn't trigger any community. I request this and please kindly check this comment and accept it. Since telling this hint triggers 1.35 Billion people for now.

I agree with you there. Unfortunately, JetPunk considers the illegally occupied POK as Pakistani land and the Aksai Chin as Chinese. Similarly Crimea for Russia etc. Unless the Indian forces get those regions under full Indian control, I don't see anything happening, sadly. 😔

+5

Myanmar shares a really long border with India (1,600km), longer than the one it shares with Bangladesh (210km).

India's territory includes a very narrow strip between Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan known as the Siliguri Corridor. Going east through this corridor takes you from the main portion of India's territory to a smaller section east of Bangladesh and Bhutan known as Northeast India. This area shares its eastern border with Myanmar.
