Great quiz! I think the last one might be a mistake, it doesn't border the one before it.

Lesotho does not border the D.R. Congo...Maybe I misunderstood the premise?

I actually fixed it within 30 seconds of uploading it, but it looks like @Tahoeskier got there first. Sorry about that!

Why does Colonel Gaddafi have his title spelt with a small "c", and with quote marks around colonel, as if he was somehow not a real colonel? Me thinks your dislike for the guy is getting in the way of factual quizmaking! At least he had the modesty to be ranked below general, brigadier and several other possible higher ranks!

Did he not appoint himself "Colonel" after the coup? Just because he had military training doesn't mean that it was a justly earned rank, and foregoing a larger fake rank of "general" is not really something to admire in the guy.

Gheddafi was not a colonel. He self-appointed himself as such in 1969, during the military coup that gave him the power.

To get from Nepal to Lesotho without going through the middle east is very clever. Very good!

The clue to the first country seems misleading. The way it is worded, the answer should be China (subject), which "shares Mt.Everest with the country below (object)", i.e. Nepal. If the latter is the answer, the clue should say "with the country above".

It's the country 'below' in the clues/answers, not north/south.

Still not clear, I am definitly not the last to type China as first try

Sure, but unless you play with some awfully silly self-imposed rules, it literally doesn't matter. Just try the other one.

Love these quizzes, they've been a great lesson for continuing geography learning after knowing all the names of the countries - learning where they are in relation to one another is very important.

I thought Denmark and Sweden don't share a border?
+6

They share a 'border' - they don't share a 'land border'

One of the many quantum superpositions of the quizmaster. Sweden and Denmark border, but do not share a land border, but border is assumed to mean land border, so Sweden and Denmark do not border. Same with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in other quizzes - they both do and do not border each other, depending on the quiz.
