I've got you beat. I got two right. Not sure if this is a competition I want to win. Hips don't Lie and Boulevard of Broken Dreams are the ones I guessed. Interesting combo.

I only got one right but I'm not proud of it, I realize this is just music from a different generation. I'd do much better on music from the '50s and '60s.

Yes, but the quiz isn't asking for the "1234" that came out in 2008. It's asking for the "1234" that came out in 2007. This isn't rocket science, dude.

Despite the fact that I first put Alicia Keys for Empire State of Mind (first, at least, Jay Z was my next choice), it probably shouldn't be accepted, because then Rihanna should be accepted for Live Your Life...but she has a song on here.

Alicia Keys also has a song called Empire State of Mind (more acoustic version) that came out maybe a month or two after the first song.

I, for one, guessed Britney Spears first, because even though it was released in '98, "Baby, One More Time" was what came to mind first! And then I couldn't think of any other song using those words for a long time...rawr.

And while it is a good song, it is from 2013, which is outside the range of this quiz. The quiz is asking for the 00s, not the 10s. We really need a better designation for those awkward zero years at the beginning of the 21st century!
