Someone who reacts with "Neato!" is very keen on whatever it is.

"Keen" can mean "cool," also. It was likely chosen as the answer by being a synonym.

Neat-o and keen are old-fashioned ways of saying "Totally rad, dude!"

Fee fi fo fum? Huh?

Not all people from the UK are Brits, only the ones actually from that island. Also, you should say 'rent out an apartment', landlords let, rentees lease.

... and not all face cards are Jacks, and not all metallic elements are nickel, etc. etc.

Somehow I saw the clue as "Ultrasound of surprise" and I was typing things like "Oh," "Wow," etc. So sad.

If you can only think of "Neato!" as a clue and Nix (US slang) as an answer, maybe just drop that particular name!

Might consider changing the clue to 'Ultrasound surprises,' as the answer is plural, the clue ought to be.

Nah. I can see the technician saying, "Uh-oh, I've got a surprise for you!" Knowing you're pregnant, and then being told you have TWINS is a surprise. It's not 2 surprises.

Would be nice if it said, "Pitch" of sound cows make. Cows don't say, "Low, Low" ... they do say, "Moo, moo" ... right?

It is not about whether the sound they make is a high-pitched sound or low pitch, that is not the meaning of the word low in this case, not the opposite of high

Like you can say snakes hiss, cows low.

(lowing is cognate with dutch loeien (pronounced something like loo-yun. )

Very clever quiz, but it needs an example in the instructions. I was about two minutes in before I figured out what it was all about. And, yes, I did read the instructions but they didn't make much semse to me. Add an example to them and hey presto.

It also needs a tad more time. Those of us on Ipads have a lot of scroling up and down to do.

There seems to be a problem with the final question. I can't see where the "Jo" comes from.

I think that is how they pronounce it ( in some places) it is like howa-kien but with the ho silent.

Just because a word is not in your personal vocabulary does not mean it is overreaching.

I am sure there are plenty of terms you haven't heard of, that does not mean they do not exist.

I feel like a wok would be better described as a Chinese cooking "vessel" or "pot"
