The color for salmon looks much closer to tuna, at least before it's cooked.

Farmed salmon are often not pink unless they are dyed. Wild salmon is pink both raw and cooked - like wild mountain trout.

The colour is called Salmon, there is no colour called Flamingo.

Agreed, I tried that first, and then coral (which it replaced with salmon)

I tried flamingo too. And I'd disagree with salmon -- salmon has more orange in it. But there is a species of salmon called "pink".

I have never seen an orange salmon let alone a pink one. I guess they are going by the cooked flesh.

You can avoid something without ducking.

It took me a bit to get it, too. I was thinking of something prayerful or respectful. I think adding "quickly" to the clue would have helped.

I agree that just moving your head is not what seems to describe duck (imo..) when I think of duck I think of cowering down with you entire body, bending over, possibly bending your knees aswell (and ofcourse subconsciously putting your hands over your head ;) )

maybe: quickly move downward to avoid something. Because like this it like ander says seems to indicate bowing (or nodding), or some sign of respect.

Some of these were really good! Can't believe I missed "duck." Don't think I've had enough coffee yet. However, I was wondering if the clue for "ram" needs to be specifically about ships. After all, I can ram into something with, say, a shopping cart, or a car, or whatever. My body. I was trying to think of a specifically nautical term. If no one else had problems with it, then never mind though!

After several guesses I got "Whale" for gambler, but I've never heard of the expression. However, I've never visited a gambling establishment either. I tried 'elephan' 'rhino', 'hippo', 'giraffe', and finally 'whale'.

It's quite wholesome that more people know about bowling than gambling or heroin. I was not one of those people, unfortunately!
