"Thunk" is a word meaning a sound made when something is dropped. The definition given is perhaps to distinguish it from "plunk".

Thunk is also the sound of something being put down. Plunk is more the act of putting it down. "Just plunk it down right there". Thunk is the sound it makes.

Only missed 4 ! not bad for a non native english speaker :) Never heard of lunk and also missed clunk (I made so many different "noises"like cachunk... kaplunk, any of those noises would make me think the car needs repair hahah) spunk and slunk (did know what moxie was, but didnt know furtively)
