And remember when Carter called the dugout to congratulate them? And they were too excited to pay celebrating and spraying each other with champagne to pay him much attention?
I'm slightly annoyed that MLB hasn't moved the Miami Marlins to the American Leauge (why not switch them with the Tampa Bay Rays?) for at least the 2015 season to get the Miami/Cubs World Series Back to the Future II promised us back in 1989. It's not like there's no precedent: the Brewers switched to the NL from the AL in 1998, 2-years ago the Astros left the NL for the AL. So why couldn't MLB and its new commissioner have given us this one thing? We don't really ask for much!
A few shortcuts for those of you typing like mad. Of course cut and paste will save you time for guessing Yankees repeatedly (type Yanks if you refuse to cut and paste), Cards, A's, O's will work for their respective teams.
I've noticed that in a lot of different sports, there have been a bunch of teams to win several championships in a row but in Football, it's really hard to win more than two Super Bowls in a row
