I thought it was Charlie Chang. and I got Georgy Zhukov, thanks to reading several histories of the battle for Stalingrad, but I thought it was spelled Georgi. Can't believe I got him but couldn't think up Werner.

We usually don't switch name order when talking about Chinese people in English, which is why you know him as Chiang Kai-shek, but I'm glad to see the quizmaster made the distinction of which is ACTUALLY the "first name".

Well, there are people that dont know the last name of elvis. He is much more often called by his last name than his full name, and it is not a very common name, so the moment you cant think of it, it is hard to drag it up from the depths. Everybody has mmoments the can;t think of the simplest of things. So you know what it says, that they are just human.

Sometimes I forget the names of people I have known for years, hell sometimes even family members, (aunts an uncles etc, not my sisters name for instance, though both my mom and dad, often call us the wrong name, like a quarter of the time! though it has gotten less lately I think) (And no we dont look alike and are not the same age, we are almost 5 years apart)

Did you guys watch The World Wars on the History Channel recently? Pretty good program. I liked the way they decided to approach the narrative- focusing on several important figures (Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Roosevelt, Tojo, Churchill, etc) and how they evolved from WW1 through the end of WW2... my only complaint would be that they seemed to miss an opportunity by saying virtually nothing about Stalin before/during WW1. I just finished reading the book Young Stalin, and there were a lot of interesting bits they could have thrown in there. Would have been good to develop his character since he became so important during WW2. They focus more on the younger versions of Hitler and Churchill, though.
