Countries On A Line With Equal Latitude and Longitude
Start at the point where the equator meets the prime meridian and proceed northeast along the line defined by all points where the degrees of latitude equals the degrees of longitude (ie, 5N, 5E). Name all countries in order that you pass through as you follow this line.
Then follow the antipodal path on the other side of the world that starts where the equator meets the 180 deg longitude line (for this path the latitude and longitude values will always add to 180 instead of being equal). Proceed northwest from this point and name all countries you pass through in order.
Territories and dependencies are included. Name the parent country.
You will pass through some countries more than once.
I used my best guess on the island nations in Oceania since it isn't always clear where the exact boundaries lie on their territorial waters.
Very nice idea, but you need headers (start point and direction of travel) for ALL the lines : I didn't know what to do once I hit the polar region, and looking at the stats, I wasn't the only one. Please add some time: if you found the Pacific tricky WITH a map, think how much more guessing the people answering must be doing!
