Not a ridiculous list at all. Of course there are other players can be rated higher but to say that "so many should be MUCH higher" is what is ridiculous. It can be argued that all of the players listed were either the best ever at their position or the dominant player of their time. As great as he was, Jackie Robinson is probably the weakest link of the group but he didn't really get a fair chance since he missed so many prime years.
Thanks for agreeing with me, it is not only JUST my opinion, it is what everyone else likes and thinks is the best. Go to http://www.thetoptens.com/baseball-players/ to find out what the public thinks.
I guess not all quizzes can be exact, especially not these kinds of quizzes. All people have different opinions on players, and most web pages are different. Glad you still enjoyed it!
Seems odd that you did not include any pitchers or catchers. I considered Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan, Yogi Berra, Stan Musial, Pete Rose and Carl Yastrzemski as candidates. However, I did score 9/10. I overlooked Pujols. Thanks for the quiz!
