Greenland is not a colony, it is a country within the kingdom of Denmark. Much like Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland being in the United Kingdom.

What about Austria, Turkey/Ottomans, Greece and Russia/USSR? And probably even someone else whom I can't recall at the moment. And about the Danish thing, Greenland was colony with no representation in government all the way until 1953.

Please can you give examples of their colonies? Do you have a link to where Greenland was referred to as a colony of Denmark from 1933 to 1940?
