Famous Greeks

A list of Greeks. Note: They are in no particular order, if you want me to add a person please leave a comment and I will add him/her when I see it. I want this to be heavily influenced by the community, there were many Greeks and I don't want to add all of the ones nobody knows. Also, if you have any other ideas for type-ins/hints, I am all ears.

Macedonian General and Founder of a dynasty in Egypt

Famous for right-angled triangles.
Pythagoras
One of the 'founders' of Western Philosophy, tutor of a man who founded the Academy in Athens
Socrates
An Ancient Greek Tragedian, known for the story of Oedipus.
Sophocles
The creator of bucolic poetry, his name is more well known then his works.
