1st. Clue ..... "A Nation is judged by how it compares to it's neighbours" ..........(next clue 22 Aug. 18)

Well, I suspected it was something along that line. So far I’ve only come up with Venezuela or Thailand because their neighbouring countries initially begin with GBC and MMLC. But how the rest of the clues fit in, that is the question ... *thinking hard*

Okay, skipping the maritime borders which disrupted my previous theory, here goes: the letter jumbles represent the initial letters in the neighbouring countries of Luxembourg, Austria, Thailand, Venezuela, Iran and Algeria, giving the acronym of Latvia=the answer :D

Well done ylj ........ congratulations. Not an easy puzzle for it not only dealt with borders but also the relation to the answers by the acronym. Again congratulations: Your Honorary Gold Medal is already on the Jetpunk Challenge Board :o)
