The distance (as the crow flies) from Athens to Beirut is 1153km (according to my source - hopefully that’s close enough), and the distance from Athens to Cairo is 1120km.

If I have the right cities, then the distance from Beirut to Cairo is 584km.

Great solve 'colmaggio' for you 15th Challenge solve. Your 'Honorary Gold Medal' is on its way. By the way ......... the clue for this challenge if needed was with regard to the picture " όπως πετάει το κοράκι " which is Greek for 'As the crow flies' ............ hinting of a straight line from Athens..... Congratulations 'colmaggio' you always surprise me.

Another great challenge and solve! I got "as the crow flies" from the picture but why is it in Greek? Or is that just extra information?

Being in Greek might be a clue to A = Athens .

Hi 'overtired'......... as the challenge was solved by 'colmaggio' there was no need for a hint, but if not solved I was going to use ........."όπως πετάει το κοράκι", as the hint. The hint being 'as the crow flies' in Greek which may hint at Athens as the A in the ABC challenge...... I hope that explains things a little better :o)
