Good quiz idea. Although you could reduce the time, since you give 2 types of clue (distance and starting-letter)

100%. Definitely need less time. Ended with almost 6 minutes and I spent wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much time thinking about a couple of them.

Add some more acceptable type-ins, such as ljulbjana, chisinua, and vilnus. Not that I misspelled those...

Added a couple of your examples, though I don't like to get too sloppy with the spelling.

Well Wishful it's a moot point. Turkey is often called 'Trans-Continental' meaning it has some of it's land in both Asia & Europe. For this little quiz I decided to use Turkey as European. In my "Mal's Asian Closest Capital Hopscotch" I switched and put Turkey into Asia..... As for Cyprus, again it is in the 'too difficult' pot, the people of Cyprus generally see themselves as European and have greater links to Greece then elsewhere... for this quiz I decided to put Cyprus in the European basket........ after all 'Does it really matter?"

Well the one thing I would change is this: It says one trans-continental country, but both Russia and Turkey are included.

It also says one island, but Malta and Cyprus are both included. I would argue not to include Ankara because Turkey is transcontinental, but Ankara is not - it's an Asian city and shouldn't be on a quiz about European cities. But other than that, this was a great quiz!

Good call to refrain from acquiescing to every ridiculous spelling request.

Hopefully the quizmaster can take a hint from your leadership on this matter.
