4:30 here, it wasn't as tricky as I had feared it might be, other than VA/MD it was pretty much straightforward.

Not following the border at Sault Ste. Marie made me head back along the shoreline. Shorter bridges than the Mackinac are obviously crossed from Virginia to Maryland or we'd wind up in West Virginia. The bridge from Delaware to New Jersey that just bypasses Pennsylvania to the south is a large suspension bridge as well. It's good this way, makes people learn.

Since it’s pronounced “Connetticut” I think many people will omit the second C. As a Canadian, I didn’t learn the proper spelling until a few months ago when I had trouble in a quiz

Just went over the US map to make sure you got everything right, and you did a great job! But being a Virginian, I have to say you should have included Virginia after Maryland, and then Maryland again after Virginia, so as to include Virginia's Eastern Shore (the bottom of the Delmarva Peninsula).

'MasterKenobi'....... you are quite correct of course. I had no idea that the Southern last 100 K of the Delmarva Peninsular was Virginia, so it would be a terrible walk around the coast there with all the bays etc. but you are right and it has been updated. I have mentioned the Delmarva just as a clue for jetpunkers like myself.

Doing a 'Walk' such as this is always tricky when it comes to rivers. If you follow the actual river to it's source you are asking for trouble (imagine a 'Walk round South America, when you arrive at the Amazon) ... On my 'Walks' I usually think of rivers as crossable not too far up river. this makes it possible to go Delaware - New Jersey then onward. Though I quite like the way that Delaware claims bits and pieces of the east bank of the Delaware river.

A walk not crossing water around the USA would cut off New England entirely as the Erie and Champlain Canals make it possible to circumnavigate New England and the Maritimes.

If you go North of Indiana you end up in Michigan, it makes more sense to go West not North to get to Illinois.

You are walking the coast of Lake Michigan and you go round the south of the lake and start heading North West then North to Chicago. After Whiting you turn North, North West towards East Side, Illinois, then continue North along the West side of the Lake. To make it clearer I've changed the direction hint to NW.

Florida isn't east of Alabama, it's southeast of Alabama, I stumbled and said Georgia for east of Alabama is incorrect when really it is. Great quiz tho.

In this quiz you are presumed to be following the coast (as much as possible) Alabama has a short coastal area from about 10km after Pascagoula to about 20 km from Pensacola. If you travel East (give or take a few degrees) you will Enter Florida before Pensacola and travel then down the coast. Georgia is nowhere near the coast until you are travelling North along the Florida coast where you cross into Georgia about 35 km North of Jacksonville.

This quiz is correct. If you follow the Atlantic border of the contiguous United States from south to north, you will go from Virginia northwards to Maryland; but due to Maryland's wacky shape you will have to go southwards again, where you meet an exclave of Virginia. Then you will go northwards again, still following the Atlantic coastline, where you meet Maryland again, before going further north to reach Delaware.

Nice quiz. I'm from the UK so a bit more time would be good. Maybe you could ask our US cousins to list the English counties moving anti-clockwise from Cornwall and see how far they get...:).1. Cornwall. 2. Give up...

After a year I still dont know all the capitals, but did the uk counties last week and got them 2nd time around, and pretty sure more than 95% has stick (stuck? Sticked? Sticken, staccato? Haha) I have never learned something so fast. I only knew Cornwall and the rough area of london (still got the wrong one.. the first time..) beforehand.

I guess a lot of it has to do with there was a map with it, and some nice distinctice shapes. It wasnt even learning, more assimilating, I simply just remembered them instantly haha. Btw this has nothing to do with how easy or not uk counties are to learn, or how well or not I am at learning, usually my memory fails me. But on some rare occasions I seem to be superabsorbant haha

I cant believe more than half didnt get washington! Even if you don't know any of the others, by using logic thst is one evreryone should get.

(but I guess eventhough I think the average jetpunker is pretty smart, their reading ability, mainly for things at the top of the screen ;) have been proven to not always be that great)
