The Rhubarb doesn't look like the Rhubarb I grow ... the leaf is usually a thicker leaf ... this photo looks more like red silverbeet that we grow. Check google and see if I'm right? (might be a different variety than we get in NZ). PS:Never seen how Pecans grow before - so I definitely learnt something thank you.
I tried silverbeet, which is what the picture is, and it wasn't accepted. Unless you took the photo yourself and have proof that it is, I don't think that picture is actually rhubarb.
The separation between the leaves and stems is more defined. With chard, as in the pic, the red stem goes into the leaves. With rhubarb the red abrubtly stops once it reaches the leaves. Rhubarb leaves are proportionally wider, like fans. Chard leaves are narrower and the whole plant is glossy. The leaves of rhubarb are more diffuse.
