Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid initially fled to ARGENTINA where they lived for a few years. They then traveled to Chile and only later, to Bolivia, where one supposedly shot the other (who had been seriously wounded in a gun battle with Bolivian soldiers) and then shot himself.
