I agree, it is both too long, and far too easy with clues.

Yeah, but it is a bit easy, and I completely forgot Winnie the Pooh existed for like 3 months. I typed this comment while the quiz was still going and still got 100%.

Quizmaster, can you take 30 seconds off? I mean, just for the sake of the quiztakers on Jetpunk!

Rabbit isn't really yellow - only the Disney rabbit is. In the original illustrations he's a realistic looking rabbit!

I never really liked the Disney one, I always grew up being read the originals and felt that Shepard's illustrations left much more for me imagine. And no I'm not like some 50 year old nostalgic

Didn't he used to call him Mr. Owl?

I think he was also known as Wol in the books (as he couldn't spell "Owl") though I've not read them so I'm not sure :\

It said Wol on his letterbox but he was never called it.

Please consider accepting Edward Bear - Pooh's original name.
+1
Level 76
Apr 6, 2020
That's a reference to being a 'teddy' bear - Edward Bear is not specifically his name I'm pretty sure

Why? That's just so silly and pedantic lol

They must've been really tired to think of "Rabbit', "Owl", "Kanga" and "Roo" as names for characters.

A. A. Milne wrote the books about his son Christopher's real toys and their imagined adventures. If you want to criticise a five-year-old for not being imaginative enough with naming his toys, then fire ahead

Sir Brian is a character in the Winnie the Pooh universe who is human, Christopher Robin is not the only one.

It clearly says "main characters". Over the many years that Pooh stories have been around, added to, changed, rewritten, or what ever you want to call it, many single use character have been added. As with so many other things, sometimes it is best to leave things as they are. You can't always improve on perfection and the simple illustrations, stories/lessons, and words are perfect for connecting with children, the original target audience.

From the picture, I assumed that the quiz is about the original set of main characters from the books by A.A. Milne in the 1920s. Sir Brian is a Disney creation from 1978 and nothing to do with the books.
