I have to say it. As a full grown man, I never thought I would be a Taylor Swift fan, but "folklore" is one of the best albums I have ever heard. I highly encourage people to check it out.

I totally agree. It's a must listen for everyone and deserves album of the year at the Grammys

I will give it a shot based on my appreciation for the Quizmaster, but people have been playing the "Just listen to..." game with me for Taylor Swift's music for like six years and I have yet to be converted. "Mean" and "Blank Space" are very catchy. Some of the older country stuff has a little charm because she's young and it's kind of sweet in its innocence, but I wouldn't listen to it on my own. Her music since she turned into a dance/pop-type star has been really grating. Shake It Off and the Right Said Fred ripoff in particular are tough to take.

I noticed that too. It almost seems like they make the titles familiar to make them easy to remember. None of what she does is (or has ever claimed to be, based on what I've observed) original. She's a pop star. She just has a remarkable natural sense for how to deliver her vocals, and she has managed her image exceptionally well. But nobody could call her songwriting inventive, and I suspect that's the point. Her music is designed to have the broadest appeal possible. Her record company pays a lot of money to get people like Max Martin, Shellback, and Jack Antonoff involved, so they want to make good on their investment. But she's still very good at what she does.

Hi @jolenao. Can you please stop resubmitting this please? (I tried to e-mail you). If you add/remove answers then we have to reset the stats and people will lose their points. We can update every year or two. Thanks for understanding.

Hey! Sorry. I just pride myself on this quiz being updated with every new release that Taylor has (which happens these days every couple of months). Your email to me was super vague so I kept assuming it was different things to do with formatting. But, I would like to keep it updated with her new collaboration, so is there any way we can work around this? Once every year won't be enough to keep this quiz updated the way that quiz-takers will want it to be.

I can think of a couple options.

1) De-feature this one

2) Create a separate quiz that is updated more frequently

Send me an email to let me know which you'd prefer!
